About
I am an interdisciplinary artist living on Dharug Land and working on Gadigal Land.
In my practice of sculpture, installation and writing, I interrogate tension through the lens of magical realism. This exploration delves into the ugly and beautiful, familiar and foreign and the known and the unknown. I explore themes of tension through the agency of materials and materiality, in processes of artmaking and assembly and embodied spatial relationships with physical, metaphysical and metaphorical spaces.
I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of country throughout Australia- specifically Dharug country where I live and Gadigal Country where I work.
I recognise and acknowledge the first peoples continuing connection to land, waters and culture.
I pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge that sovereignty has never been ceded.
